Greetings! I'm Shawnasia Black, a proud first-generation Jamaican American from the lively "Boogie Down" Bronx. Fueled by my passion for travel, biophilic design and a flair for eclectic and contemporary styles, my designs are a harmonious blend of color, texture, and subtle nods to nature. I delight in helping people discover their design voice and enhancing how they experience meaningful moments in their spaces.
Before founding Asia B. Designs, I accumulated over five years of industry experience, specializing in the multi-family/affordable housing sector. Armed with a BFA in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology; as well as degrees in Psychology & Professional Communications from Clark University, I seamlessly blend creativity, innovation and a collaborative spirit in all my projects.
